New Horizons Community Church is based in Spokane, WA. The rebranding project was needed in response to church growth, and the final logo design includes a hexagon icon converged with a sunrise. The theme of the brand is serving others and the idea behind the chosen hexagon shape is the factor of geometry: unlike other geometric shapes like squares and triangles that can repeat their own shape when added to themselves, hexagons do not repeat their shape when replicated and combined, thereby suggesting that there is no end point to serving others. The branding project was a prerequisite for the website, signage, and other design projects.
